Dr. Angela Onyekanne is a graduate of Virginia Tech (B.S in Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise with a concentration in the sciences). She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and has practiced in all settings catered to the geriatric client to include Home Health, Outpatient Clinics, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted and Independent Senior Retirement Communities. Her passion for the care of seniors has enhanced her practice capabilities so much that she became Board Certified in Geriatric PT in 2014. She has also earned a certification as an Exercise Expert for the Aging Adult and a Certification in Parkinson's LSVT Big Therapy. She is committed to enhancing the overall physical therapy and wellness experience for all of the clients she serves with the hope that their individual functional goals are being met in order to age to the best of their ability. She is currently licensed in Ohio and Kentucky.
